KMW’s projects, past and present, reflect an approach to design developed through a career-long collaboration of Gerhard Kallmann and Michael MckKinnell with the principals of the firm. Both were influential professors of Architecture for over two decades at the Harvard Graduate School of Design.
Over the past 30 years the practice was joined by a group of professionals who shared their outlook and commitment to a demanding set of design standards, and together they created the firm portfolio as it exists today, expanding the range of projects and its architectural language.
The firm principals are Bruce A. Wood FAIA, ASLA, LEED AP, Larry Chan FAIA, and Rayford Law AIA, LEED BD+C and the firm is led by, Bruce Wood.
The firm believes that our clients are best served by a design process that depends on the personal commitment of the Principals to a continuing and responsive dialogue with them and their representatives throughout the course of the project and a continuity of participation by the design team throughout the construction process.
